Think I have figured out what is causing my hives, its mold.
I lived in a house that had mold underneath from leaking pipes and I was constantly sick when I lived there, now im living in a house that I just found mold the other day in my bedroom (where I spend alot of my time) growing on the wall. I live in Oregon and my Doctor said how to get away from the mold here is to move to Arizona (which is my husbands dream) cause the climate is not moist there.
My daughter is 6 yrs old and the winter of 2007 is when she first came down with this sore throat. She started with sneezing and then she got the sniffles. After that she had a productive cough, but a day later she said her throat hurt. another day later she had difficulty coughing and horrible breathing problems. She was hospitalized. They treated her with asthma protocol and she didnt get better. next wekk she got Strep. Next week she got the same sneezing , sore thraot, breathing problems. Two weeks later, She started sneezing, coughing, sore throat, and again horrible difficulty breathing. Her doc gave her nebulizer treatment. She started getting hives all over her face during the treatment. He said to give her Benadryl. She took Benadryl cream and the oral kind. Nothing made it go away. Took a week before the hives started going away but she never gets ridn of the ones on her nose. I think my daughter has had the flu each time. When I gave her motrin for her throat pain her breathing was worse the next day. Which is what happens with the Flu. But no one is able to tell me why she gets the hives. Ive gotten the same sickness twice from her. no hives. Then again I didnt use any medication. Why are we getting sick? Going to the doctor hasnt told us what we have nor has the treatment made my daughter better. Is there something new out there? Is this a new strain cause my daughter doesnt have asthma!!!!!!!!!
It is good that you have been able to find outthe cause of your symptoms and allergic reactions.
Till you are able to actually shift, you should talk to your doctor whether taking oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications and maybe a short course of steroids would help in your case.
How are you doing now? Are you on any medications? How are your symptoms now?
