How can I distinguish between Anxiety disorder and real breathing and eating trouble

I am working as a Software Engineer, and started my career 7 months back. I have night shifts also. Around 3 months before, one day I woke up suddenly in the evening, and felt something stuck in my throat or something inhaled. I was alone in the home. I became panic, called my friend and went to the hospital with my friend, who is staying with me (I am away from my family for work, and staying with some friends).

The doctor examined and said nothing to worry and took one injection. But I became more panic and tensed after that and I couldn't even eat or swallow things when we went to the hotel, immediately from the hospital. Again I ran to the hospital and the doctor called another doctor (may be a specialist) and he examined and told nothing to worry and to relax. My BP was high. The doctor called my friend and told that it is just because of tension.

I had an allergic cough and minor breathing trouble for a long time of around 4-5 years. Then I there was a reflexion symptoms after eating. So I went for a thorough check up in a super specialty hospital near to my native. The Pulmologist and Gastroentrologist examined me and I am under medication for Allergy and Acidity (I stopped medicine for acidity, as I feel ok now from the reflexion symptoms). I took an upper endoscopy test and there was no problem with the result.

Then I read about anxiety and panic disorder, and I came to know that I have the symptoms of it. But the problem I am facing is, how to distinguish between the Panic disorder and the real breathing or eating trouble I have. I am finding difficulty in swallowing. A thick saliva(something jelly type) is coming to the throat and I have to spit that in between eating. I have a feeling that the food particles are going into the air way. and I have a discomfort in the chest and I atarts cough. I becomes panic by this and things gets even worst. How can I handle this? Please tell me, whether entering anything (even tiny things) into the air way and getting ok after sometimes is possible? I have a heavy head feeling always due to allergy.

Please help me. I am expecting an expert advice.

Thank you,
Paul.
