How to treat a facial skin rasg

I used the mustache and beard coloring gel from Just For Men and it has caused a bad skin rash. My face is now swollen and itchy. Do you think this maybe permenant and what can I do to treat it? I have no medical insurance so I am unable to see a physician. Thank you in advance.

There are also some creams a person can use topically on rashes that are made from the same ingredients as the ones you take internally, such as the ingredient in Benadryl, that you can try.  You would need to be careful not to get the medication too close to your lips. Although, if you do accidentally ingest a trace amount, I know it won't hurt you, because I have done just that and nothing happened.  I'm allergic to many things, too.  Just try not to ingest it at all.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
No the rash will not be permanent. Look at the ingredients of the coloring gel and in future when you buy one match the contents and see. You could be allergic to one or more components of the gel. There are many over the counter anti allergic medications like Claritin available which you can take.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
