I NEED HELP!!!!!!

Where do I begin with my allergies... For the past 5 years or so, I've had seasonal allergies but maintained with zyrtec.  During the last two years of college, I noticed that my skin was getting so dry and painful that I would have to lotion my ENTIRE body immediately after showering or else I couldn't move without being in pain.  I was also sweating a lot more during that time (I'm assuming due to allergies).  Because of the combination of the two, my anxiety was getting to me.  It got to the point where I would have panic attacks.  I've been out of college for 2.5 years now and working as a microbiologist for a dairy plant.  Since my time there, my allergies I so terrible I feel like shriveling up and dying.  I go to work and immediately begin sneezing, coughing, itching my eyes, sore throat, drainage, etc.  I feel as though my eyes are giving me the worst pain/discomfort because they burn every second of the day.  My eyelids are extremely red and puffy.  Co-workers will comment on them and when they do, I immediately begin sweating and panicking because it gets to me so bad.  There are times where I dread going to work because I know I look terrible.  I recently went to the allergist and had a allergy test.  They said I'm allergic to basically everything and mold was a big one.  We have a terrible mold problem at our plant so I'm assuming that's the biggest factor of why I'm so miserable at work but with this economy, I can't afford to quit my job.  It's too good of pay to do that.
I'm currently receiving allergy shots but I don't think they are helping at all!  I'm also taking Allegra but I notice no difference on or off them.
Everyday is a huge struggle for me because someone always makes a comment about my eyes or my pale face, and that just puts me into a huge panic attack.
Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forum, yes, your condition seems to be allergy related and is suggestive of  Atopic dermatitis (AD) and allergic conjunctivitis, which is a chronic inflammatory disorder. There is abnormal barrier presents in the skin which gets disrupted upon exposure to the allergen.

The allergen can be in the form of excessive bathing, low humidity environments, emotional stress, xerosis (dry skin), overheating of skin, and exposure to solvents and detergents. Avoiding these situations is helpful for acute flares as well as for long-term management.

In such condition maintenance of adequate hydration of the skin is quite important. Which includes thick creams (eg, Eucerin, Cetaphil, Nutraderm), which have a low water content, or ointments (eg, petroleum jelly, Aquaphor, Petrolatum), which have zero water content, are better.

Along with above measure use of anti histamines and corticosteroids will help to reduce itching of the skin as well as rash. Change of working environment would still be best measure. Wear full clothes to avoid further exposure. I suggest you to consult dermatologist. Take care and regards.

You work as a microbiologist there. You should know the amount of damage to your health by just breathing in such a toxic work enviroment.
My biggest surprise is that the health authorities have not inspected this plant for mold! All it should take is an anonymous tel call, if upper management won't do anything about it.
Go to a holistic doctor or practitioner for your general allergies. Do some tapping (EFT)
Free manual download , just do a search.
Very easy to apply basic EFT for emotional and physical issues.
For more persistent issues you may have to find a seasoned practitioner in your area
. It would be great if they also have "Allergy Antidotes" training. Or a seek out a N.A.E.T. doctor or practitioner. (They specialize in drugless allergy elimination)
It all works with re-balancing the body's energy. Just a great tool to eliminate allergies with all their physical and emotional symptoms.!
There are many different methods. Just Search the net.
Myself I have managed to take care of my health issues and help others
using only holistic methods. It is very satisfying to see the results .
I'm so grateful to all the kind people that helped me and all the great teachers that taught me.
Blessings
Nick
