Ok I did a little research on your topic, and I found that an allergic reaction occurs when your immune system overreacts to something in a medicine. So the 'sone' in medicine may be exactly whats doing it. Talking to your doctor may be the best bet. There are certain medicines I'm allergic to that have similar names, but I'm not allergic to all of them.

I'm sorry - what medicine did they inject into your knee? It's probably in the same class as Predisone...What did the doctor say?! "Gee - look at that?" and let you go!?!?! Dang!! My reaction would be what the heck!!!!!!!!!!
