IGG low IGM high IG 4 LOW

Hi All,
OK!  I just received a partial explanation of my blood test results that my allergist took a few weeks ago.
This was the 3rd time I called, and again my doctor was gone, so I demanded something... she went to talk
to another doctor and got back on the phone & said every was fine except my IGG & IG4 levels are low and my IGM level was high, can some one explain this in English... my doctor won't be back for a few weeks.
           Thanks!

This discussion is related to hsv IgM/IgG results very high and confusing. Help!!!!.

We have an allergy forum that would be very helpful to you, but you are going to need the name of the test for anyone to be able to help you.

This forum is for STD-related concerns -- unfortunately, I know nothing about allery tests!  There might be another forum that could help though.

An allergist took the test, lol... I have not had any reason to believe I have herpes, (except perhaps my ex husband gave them to me.)

What blood test did you have?  Did you get a herpes test or was this an IgG allergen test?
