Secondly, I have been having a BUNCH of symptoms and I dont know the cause of them,. i have a few theories and allergies is one of them, I was wondering if these symptoms could be from allergies.
I was tested for allergies when I was a kid (11 years old) and was found to be allergic to 60 or so things (mostly hayfever type stuff) and was put on allergy shots which I received for a couple or 3 years. I am now almost 30 and am wondering if those shots have worn off and maybe its time to go back on them? is that normal? do allergy shots lose their effectiveness after some time? is it necessary to get them again 10-15 years later?
hmmmm this is weird, I'm 20 and on my third month of allergy shots to dust mites and cats and I am very similar in symptoms.
The inflammation, breathing issues may be reactive airways like I have, my allergies have led into reactive airways (mild asthma).
I also have the muscle pain, twitching and spasms. They started about the same time as the lung problems, although I did find out I needed orthotics because my feet rolled in when I walked.
I thought now that the muscle pain was from low potassium due to my medication, and what I eat has a large impact on the level of pain.
Tip: look into nutrition and the importance of a proper salt/potassium ratio. By increasing my raw food (fruits/veggies), I feel much better overall. Most of us in developed countries eat very poorly. Also, YES your allergy shots can wear off, especially if you are still exposed to the allergens. A trip to your allergist is defintely needed.
hi tammy thanks for your reply, it is very much apperciated.
Other than being a girl,. you sound like my double.
I too am allergic to cat dander and dust mites and a TON of other things like pollen, trees, weeds, plants, etc etc... I have 2 cats but never had a problem with them until now. I also have flat feet and had to buy 600 dollar orthotics but the feet issue has nothing to do with my pain or twitching.
You mention lung problem,..this entire downfall happened last year after smoking some pot. I had a severe asthma attack from it , which I didnt know at the time,. I thought I was having a panic attack and just let it go away on its own which it did after 8 hours, then i smoked again and got another attack only this time it took almost 24 hours to pass. i couldve easily died, it was so scary gasping for air for so many hours like that. ever since then,. i started having symptoms. month after month more and more would pop up. Now a year later, i am clean from smoking but am suffering big time. I think there was something in that weed and its been absorbed into my lung tissue. It seems as tho i am almost allergic to everything now. even things i wasnt allergic to before.
I have had many medical tests and potassium, sodium, electrolytes are all fine. the only thing that came back weird is: low neutrophils/wbc, super elevated IgE levels
Are you sure your muscle spasms and soreness and twitching is from your feet? is that confirmed? and are your spasms/twiching all over the body or is it mostly in legs?
mine are visible and are mostly in the chest / abdomen and back area, sometimes in butt and arms.
I guess I gotta get the shots again and see if they help/work. I hope they do im so desperate.
