Insect venom question

by assured, May 24, 2007 12:00AM
I have a somewhat odd question regarding insect venom.  Can the venom from a bee or wasp be absorbed through the skin?  If you kill a bee or wasp and then dispose of it thereby coming into contact with "fluids" from the insect can you have an allergic reaction from that being absorbed through your skin?

Thanks for any answer!
