Is it an allergy? ANY help, Please!

Hi, I am new here & am hoping someone can help point me in the right direction.  In the last 14 months, I have had 3 "episodes" where I feel like I'm going into Anaphylaxis shock.  I get hot, turn red (literally from head to foot & everything in between), get dizzy, tingly skin, shortness of breath & have even felt my throat closing & passed out.  There seems to be NO connection between these episodes.  The first time we thought it was a Ceasar salad I had eaten, the second time all I did was wake-up in the morning & was already going into it, & this last time I was just sitting at home.  The ONLY connection that we have found is that they all 3 have happened close to the end or right as I was ending a period.  I DO respond to Benedryl when I'm in shock.  I do not use tampons.  I'm at such a loss for what is going on & it's so scary b/c I am often alone w/ my 2 small children.  PLEASE!  If anyone can give me some ideas....I would SOOO appreciate them!!!!!!!!

Really?  Why would the Benedryl make it go away?  Aren't there usually 'triggers' for panic attacks?  ANY info would be SOOO helpful! Thank you for your post!
