Is it possible to have hives, diarrhoea and anxiety attack mimicking anaphylaxis

This happened to me before so I called an ambulance. But when the EMT measured my vital signs, everything was normal, other than a fast strong pulse. Same result at the ER, where they also performed an ECG. Everything came back normal. And so I was discharged with no treatment. The doctor said the likelihood is that my mild allergic symptoms triggered a panic attack, given my history of panic attacks.  Is this even possible?

To me it seemed like I was having difficulty breathing and talking, threat tightness and feeling weak but there was no noticeable swelling in the throats and apparently these can all be caused by a panic attack as well.
