Is this asthma or am I alergic(allergic) to my house?

I have been coughing all winter and have had a stuffy nose for most of this time. I have tried 2 different antibiotics with no results. I am on different antibiotics and have been for 2 weeks now.  I am not much better. I'm beginning to think its my house since we moved in late fall and I started having mild symptoms of a cold. The biggest problem is my lungs. I cough like crazy and cough up yellow mucus. I am tired of being sick.

Chronic cough can be caused by cigarette smoking, asthma, GERD, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis causing PND, lung infections like bronchitis and pneumonia, tumors, sarcoidosis or other lung disease and medicines like ACE inhibitors used as antihypertensives.

In your case, it can be due to allergies or lung causes like bronchitis. I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a chest physician.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. Did your prescribing Doctor get a culture sample from you -each time- and have it analysed?
And was it viral or bacterial or fungal? Antibiotics would only help with bacterial infections.
A regiment of  high quality Prebiotics and Probiotics to restore your damaged intestinal flora- by all the antibiotics- is recommended. Please do a search for this.

Your symptoms indicate possibility of chronic bronchitis and or allergic reaction to
an offending allergen. A thorough search for any mold behind walls and other concealed areas in your house would be advisable.
Check with your local health authority or the building dept at the City Hall
regarding mold issues in your house for more info.
