Issues

I went to my ENT two years ago with symptoms of dizziness, headaches, and pain around sinus areas. I was put on antibiotics & other medications including diuretics,  allergy meds & a dose of prednisone. Then my doctor order a CT Scan, and everything looked good. I was still having problems and my Dr. then decided to order an MRI (8 protocol with & with out contrast) It came back clean. I even went to a Neuro-Ophthalmologist to have my eyes looked at- was fine.
Thank God, But now I still have these symptoms and am not sure what to do next. I do have several allergies and I am now getting allergy shots. Still having sinus issues, headaches, (migraines too) periodically and I still get lightheaded and a bit dizzy.
The only thing I can think of that could have anything to do with this is the fact that I had a right ear Mastoid Dectomy(sp) when I was a child.
Not sure what else to try- any suggestions??    Thank you!

Hi,

Have you followed up with your ENT specialist after the surgery?

The sinus problems you are having should respond to antibiotics, steroid nasal sprays, saline nasal drops and steam inhalation etc.

Is it in any way related to your work place? That is , do you work in a dust or smoke related place?

Do you have allergic rhinitis or asthma symptoms?

What medications are you taking for the migraines?

Do you sleep well?

Do you smoke?

Do let us know what your ENT specialist tells you.
