Itchy skin.... no real reason why

by needshelp, Jun 21, 2006 12:00AM
I went to the beach the 1st weekend in this month and since then my skin is very very itchy. Almost like an allergic reaction to a medication. But i have not been on any medicine since 2 wks ago when i was on antibiotics for a sinus infection. My skin gets little bumps all over it when it starts itiching, and nothing i have tried is helping.Any advice on what to do or what to ask dr would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a tetracycline reaction.  tetracycline degrades in the capillary beds of your skin if you are taking it and laying out in the sun.  dumb and dangerous, so go see your doc about it
