Lip allergy

I recently got an allergic reaction (so i think ) to something which made my lips burn, tingle, swell up, peel, and had tiny bumps on them. After the 4th day of it continuously getting worse i went to the doctor who prescribed a steroid shock. It slowly went away but the doctor still didnt know exactly what it was and why it would only be on my lips. All was fine for a month or two maybe until yesterday it is starting to come back. This is very painful and if there is any information you can give me to help figure out what it is please let me know.

Sometimes food allergies can cause a reaction similar to that.  I would suggest that you keep a food diary for a while and see if you can detect a pattern.  It may not be one food, but a combination of foods (compicates the process greatly).  Medicine and supplements allergies can cause that reaction as well, so consider if you have taken any of those before your break outs.

I am having this same issue - since January. My dermatologist and I thought it was from Mango Juice, but I haven't had any since my last outbreak about a month ago and on Tuesday, I had another outbreak. My home had a water pipe break in January and I've been in the process (very slow process) of getting my home back to normal - have to get all new flooring and a new basement floor (was asbestos) - so I'm wondering if its something from the water damage that is causing this. I also was prescribed a steroid creme, which I haven't used yet - I'm stubborn, but after today, I will start it. My internal medicine doctor said it was part of menopause, but I don't think that's it either. Hurts like crazy!
