MY SINUSES ARE GOING CRAZY

Hello.

Every year, around this time (when the weather changes and Autumn is setting in) is when my sinuses act up and go crazy. I should be used to it but as I get older the condition seems more difficult to control.  I am 28 years old now and have been battling sinus infections, allergies, etc since I was about 8 years old.

When I was younger,  I would take something like claritin and be fine. Now, if I take any of those pills I literally become sleeping beauty and just sleep for up to 14 hours without interruption.  

My head feels stuffy,  I have sharp pains on the top of my head (my crown) and it hurts if I press on it,  and I feel nauseus (maybe due to the mucous drainage).  I also see lights and shiney spots from time to time.  I used to get this when I was little too (so, I am pretty sure that I dont have migraines).

Just wondering how bad do your sinuses act up?  What do you do to relieve the discomfort?
