Medicine allergy

I have very bad allergy of rashes and itching with tinidazole and ornidazole. to a lesser amount with metronidazole. i would like to know other alternatives for these medicines for tummy troubles...   tx

These antibiotics are collectively called as nitroimidazole antibiotics. And they are mostly effective against anaerobic organisms. They are metronidazole, tinidazole, ornidazole, azanidazole dimetridazole, nimorazole and propenidazole. Besides these, ciprofloxacin (Cipro) is effective in tummy problems, which is an antibiotic and belongs to a group of drugs called fluoroquinolones.
