Multiple mouth ulcers/ blisters?

I am a 29 year old female, newly married and trying to concieve. For the past year possibley longer I have been getting mouth ulcers and or blisters. It use to be just one every now and then, but now I have about 2 episodes a month resulting in mulitple (Lining the form of my lips on the inside, where the gum meets the lip, sometimes on the sides of my tounge, and possibly on my throat but I cant see them), it does seem to sometimes mimic the timing of my hormonal cycles ( ovulation and period), I take a muti vitamin everyday ( prenatel) and a Lysine tablet 2 times a day, I use a soft tooth brush, I dont eat sharp food, I use Lysterine, I use an canker soar/ oral iritation mouth wash containing peroxide...*sigh*
My doctor told me that he did not believe they were herpes related, for one they tend to vary in where they are located ( however now I get so many that there is little chance of showing up in a new place), they are clear blisters in small groups that burst on there own or I do it with my tounge because of the irritation, they usually turn whiteish, they are tender, they do not crust over or turn yellow like herpes ( from what I have read), I dont get a fever...
Please help! i am so frustrated!

I also get frquent ulcers, but not to the degree you describe. I know when I have them they are miserable so I can empathize with you. You did not mention if your dr has looked into any more involved diagnosis, than just assuming these are benign ulcers. The way you describe them, so persistant and extreme should cause a dr to look into other causes for them like allergic reactions to toothpaste, or foods. Also, many autoimmune diseases cause mouth ulcers, have they done an autoimmune workup for you? Do you have other symptoms also? Any skin rashes, blisters, shortness of breath, extreme tiredness, joint pains, GI problems, eye problems? If you do an autoimmune disease needs to be ruled out. Autoimmune disease can cause problems with literally any part of the body. Hope that helps a little.
