No symptoms, concerned about insect ingestion

Hello,
This is going to sound like a very silly question, but I didn't know where else to ask and I didn't really know what topic area to post this question in so here goes. Recently I believe I may have accidentally eaten a fly in my salad. Although I have felt fine, I am worried about potential diseases that flies may carry etc. Would ingestion of a fly cause me any harm? I realise how dumb this sounds and I honestly don't want to waste anyone's time, but any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

I think that the chances of catching anything from it would be very very slim. Try not to worry about it. You know, they say that we actually ingest many spiders while we sleep without being aware of it. (sorry, just thought that I'd share that one with you) Best of luck.
