ONe dr. says onething the n/p another

by line, Jun 19, 2006 12:00AM
I have been getting itchy pimples behind my ears on and off for a few years also same thing on my forhead and scalp, they always went away on their own, this time I have them for three months. They have no oozing, no redness and get dry and like a crust over the tip. They are flesh colored. The ones on my scalp feel sore for a day or so when they start and than turn into a crusty area.

I went with my husband to his DR. he looked at the rash or whatever and said it was either an allergic reaction or seborrhea. Today I went to my Dr. saw the n/p, she spent all of 3 minuets at tops with me and said she thought it was bacteria, told me to use medicated shampoo, hydrocortisone cream and gave me a new a/b. i was asking her if I could use a a/b cream instead because I always get some sort of reaction to ab's, she never answered and walked out. Wants to see me in 2 weeks.

Any help would be appeciated, Linda
