PEROXIDE, BAKING SODA, SALT SOLUTION or anything that can help chronic sinus infections PLEASE!!!!

Hello, I am a 26 year old female and I have been dealing with chronic sinus infections since I can remember. It gets in the way of my workouts, school, and work. they all suffer from me being sick and it is very depressing. I feel like I am sick 70 percent of the time and most of my life. It is very hard and sad most of my young life just went bye bye, due to illness:( I get very discouraged I know there is worse out there but it is like I have a disease it is so bad. Anyway, I have allergies and minor asthma.  I live with a dog whom I am allergic too and live with my parents because of money reasons and my mother smokes in the house. Anyway, I am getting desperate for a cure/treatment. I am always on antibiotics and currently just got on 21 days of doxycycline. I was just on doxycycline for 10 days a month ago. My doc says I have a nasal polyp and I have ENT appt June 1st. I take advair, abruetoral when asthma may flare, singulair, and rhinocort or flonase when I can get samples. I normally cant afford the advair or singulair with out samples from doc. Anyway, I am tired of feeling drugged and sick. I know most is probably allergy related but now I feel I can't handle beer greasy foods or anything I ingest unless it is fresh or bland which well is not a animal allergy and something new its kind of weird good for weight i would think in future & healthy but just weird I can't handle foods now with out feeling inflammed now. I try to allergy proof my room the best I can for the dog. I dont know what else to do. So today I wanted to clean my ears and put peroxide in them not as much wax came out like I wish when a doctor once did it. Then my doc is always saying how its a miracle how I can breath all the time because everything is so inflammed all the time and no open spaces just wall to wall. I was wondering about sinus floodings. Does it help with inflammation if NOT do you know anything thing that makes the sinus and nasal passages stay down. I know I live in MO (a allergy state) and I live with a dog and moms smoke who wont go outside but do you think your peroxide, baking soda, and salt sinus flush could help me. If so will the peroxide destroy good sinus tissue? I dont want to make things worse and i read it can destroy good tissue. How do I measure the parts of mixture like 1 part peroxide etc...and lastly instead of kosher salt can I use regular salt or sea salt since that is what is in the house? If anyone knows anything please please please I will take any advice I can get. I hope to hear from you soon. I would like to hear what other people do for their chronic allergy sinus infections. Have a good day. Valerie

Hello,
Chronic sinusitis can be due to allergic nasal polyps or tumors, allergic reactions, deviated nasal septum, trauma to the face, respiratory tract infections, allergies such as hay fever, immune system cells or cystic fibrosis.
It is important to find out the cause of chronic sinusitis as then specific treatment can be started.Treatment varies from saline and steroid nasal sprays to decongestants and antibiotics. Some resistant cases may need surgery. As for the mucus removal, inhale plenty of steam. Inhaling steam from a bowl of hot (but not boiling water) may help to soften, and loosen, the build up of mucus in your nose. You may also find that adding some menthol crystals, or eucalyptus oil, to the water, helps to ease your symptoms of catarrh. Also keep your head end elevated while sleeping and apply wet warm compresses on his face. You can also nasal lavage by bulb syringe or neti pot to rinse your nasal passages.

As for the dog allergy,it is best to remove the dog from your house. But if you want to keep the dog,use reputable allergy avoidance products throughout your home. Wash your hands after having contact with your pet. Keep pets out of the bedroom and avoid using carpeting, draperies and upholstered furniture in your home since allergens will collect there. Also wash and brush your pet each week.
If the symptoms are intense then pls consult an ENT specialist and an allergist. You can go for allergy shots also.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.

Products that have helped me:

. homeopathy formulas (they have one very cheap for pet dander)
. Neil Med Sinus Rinse (you can purchase very cheap at Walgreens... very easy to use)
. Dr. David A. Jernigan's "Allermac" formula --- available online through the Hansa Center (google and you can find his website and consider purchasing online) You may feel as if you are detoxing at first, because you are. That is a great sign... and then after that... at least in my case, my allergies were so much more tolerable.

All the best,
