I was diagnosed with cellulitis 3 weeks ago....I was perscribed Bactrim for it (1600 mgs per day). After about 8 days on the bactrim i broke out with an awful bumpy rash all over my body. I was then perscribed methylprednisolone for it. It was a 6 day pack. It made most of the rash go away, but after i was off the steroid for 2 days the rash came back all over my hands and feet only. I am now on day 5 of my methylprednisolone 6 day pack and i still have the rash on my hands and feet. Is it normal for a drug reaction to last so long? My doctor does not seem too concerned but I am very nervous... I have my wedding coming up in 73 days! THanks for your help.
