Hi,
Thanks for writing in. Every individual responds in a different way to certain fragrances and is not abnormal to feel nausea when exposed to those fragrances.
It just suggests that you are sensitive to those fragrances and feel nauseated.
Best.

I got to the point of needing to wear a filtration mask when I leave my apartment, because I simply can't handle all the fragrances and other chemicals I have to encounter everywhere I go.  This is the only way I can handle riding the public bus system.  I get very ill from peoples' fragrances and from other so-called "everyday" chemicals that other people aren't affected by.  There are still the people who wear enough fragrance for a hundred years that I simply have to get away from.  The filtration mask cuts down the amount I'm exposed to, but when someone is wearing an excessive amount of fragrance than the only thing I can do is "head for the hills".  I find that some people act like this is either a joke or that I'm just being "picky".  I don't think I'm being "picky" and this has nothing to do with whether I like the smell or not.  I can like a certain smell that someone is wearing but still be so adversely affected that I'm down for the count for several days.
