Possible Allergic Reaction

About an hour before I got off of work yesterday, my nose started running, I started sneezing a lot, my eyes, ears, nose and mouth got itchy. I went home and took a Benadryl thinking my seasonal allergies were kicking in early...but the symptoms have persisted and now I have little bumps on my face my lips and face are feeling swollen and tingly and I'm still itchy. I didn't eat or drink anything out of the ordinary...could I have developed an allergic reaction to something? And how can I find out? When should I seek medical help? I don't want to go to the doctors and find out this is nothing. But, alternately I don't want to think this is nothing and I end up unconscious or something.

I'd see a dr asap even if it means a trip to the er as face and lip swelling can be dangerous. My grandmother did this and found out that she was allergic to fish. She has eaten it all her life and I guess your body chemistry changes then you become allergic. Don't worry too much as you have taken benadryl, but do go get it checked out so it doesn't get worse.
