Hi, I don't know which country you are in but in the UK it is up to your employer to protect you against chemicals etc. They should provide you with "PPE" - Personal Protective Equipment; for instance in this case you should obviously have gloves and possibly protective plastic sleeves as well. I suggest you speak to your supervisor and/or Health & SafetyChild safety seats Home safety Safe driving for teens Safety Advisor (if there is one). In the factory where I work they provide PPE plus barrier creams, and if anyone still has any problems they arrange medical assessments and treatments, or move the person to a different process so they don't come into contact with the problem chemical. If you aren't in the UK then I suggest you find out what the legislation is for your country. Hope this helps!
