It has now been 4 weeks since my rash surfaced and I still itch like crazy at times. I manage to stay off the Benadryl for about a day at a time, but after 24 hours I need to take one.
So the rash started out being heavy, bumpy, almost like they were filled with water, about 3-5 mm in size and was located ALL OVER my legs, lower back, and stomach. Red small dots was all over my arms, breasts, and sometimes face and neck. Today about 5 weeks later I usually don't see a rash but the iching is still there on my arms, back, stomach, legs and face, daily but not all day. There is no femenine itch at all.
At first I though this was a reaction to the cough syrap and mucus relief but it has been so long since I stoped taking it and I am still taking Benadryl and do see some benefit from doing so. Nothing else in my life has changed as far as food, detergents, cleaning supplies, sleep wear, clothes, and so on. I am allergic to Penecillin and do get a similar rash when taking it, but also experience a feminine rash with penecillin. (alos, I am allergic to pollen but not as extensive anymore)
Do you have any idea what this can be? I don't have a fever at all, and I feel good - just going crazy with the itch.
I am very holistic so I eat my vitamin d3, arginine, and other vitamins and minerals on a daily basis and I doubt that it is from any of that.
I would love to hear a suggestion to what this can be, and if my body can still react to something I took over a month ago?
