Rash on my face

Hi everyone
I was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem ..I've been having rash on my face in my chin area ..I've had gone to the doctor and they gave me a hydrocortisone cream 2.5% which I think it doesn't work for me a still itch .I feel like scratching my face so hard but I don't because I feel it might get worse ..I don't know what to do this itch won't go away I feel like I have bumps inside my face were I itch .especially at night I feel like itching ..please help me if anyone has had this or what can i do

The itchiness could be due to contact dermatitis, that is exposure to an irritant like a chemical or metal or anything you are allergic to, it can cause rash and itchiness. It could also be due to iron deficiency anemia, liver and kidney disorders, thyroid disorders, polycythemia and diabetes. It could also be due to certain medications and food. If the steroid based ointment is not providing relief, consult your doctor for more potent steroid creams and antihistamines, they could help with the itchiness.
