Rather sudden weakness, dizziness (not spinning), very tired, and sometimes with headaches.

I can be fine, and all of a sudden I feel somewhat dizzy, weak, hot, tired, and jittery.  It makes me feel so poorly that I fear it will happen while I am driving.  I feel generally hot (without the other symptoms) far too often. I am post menopausal.  VERY often when I go to bed at night, I will all of a sudden feel hot, get a headache (not severe) and feel weak. Has anyone else had these symptoms, and what have you found that helps?

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Postmenopausal symptoms are caused due to hormone deficiencies and they could resemble the symptoms described by you. The other causes for your symptoms could be metabolic disorders like diabetes and hypothyroidism, which  can be detected by a simple blood test.  But there is treatment for postmenopausal symptoms  in the form of Hormone Replacement therapy (HRT). You can discuss this with your primary care physician when you happen to meet him next time.
