Red Bumps

My husband and I recently noticed small red bumps on our finger and between our thumbs, they are red, and itchy.  We have tried wart medicine, but I really do not think these are warts, they are pretty small.  I am concerned they will be transferred to our kids, any help out there would be great.

Hi,

If you and your husband both have the lesions - they are infective in all probability and can in fact spread to your children too.

You need to consult your physician immediately so that the diagnosis can be established after a proper clinical examination and proper treatment started accordingly.

A look at the lesions is important before any comment can be made about what should be done.

Keep the area clean, wash it frequently.

Let us know how you are doing and what your doctor advises.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
