Red and purple dot rash on my thigh

I have 3 red raised dots on my thigh and now (1 day later) I have flat purple (almost purple freckle looking) dots (about 6 of them randomly around the red dots. Now I also have several raised red dots on my abdomen. What is this?

Hi I have just been diagnosed with erythema nodosum which is red lumps, which then turned blue. sounds a bit like yours, but are they painfull ? if you have erythema nodusum then they will be tender to touch and slightly raised. if you think you have the same as me, get them checked as they are an underlying disorder to something else, which the tests proved with mine.
