I have had psoriasis for 31 years, and I have it in many of those same areas. Clobetasol ointment is terrific. I apply it daily and get in the sun as much as possible. If you can't get sun time, and for those areas that don't see the sun, a tanning bed does the trick. For my scalp, I use Synalar solution. Both of these are prescription only but well worth it. I had psoriasis from 8 yrs of age to 16 yrs of age before we found a medicine to clear it. Clobetasol is very strong, so if your skin gets clear, you can use Elocon ointment (less strong). Psoriasis is not curable and something you will have to work on for life. But, if you do, your skin can be clear. For me, the effort to apply the meds is worth it. Good luck!
