Septoplasty w/ turbinate reduction please help!!

I am having septoplasty with turbinate reduction in 2 weeks.  My question is.  Will I stop feeling so exhausted all the time?  I don't know if I vwant to go through with the horrible recovery if my symptoms will not be cured.  Has anyone had this surgery with good results?  Please respond?

Well, I had a septoplasty 13 years ago, and the recovery was very uncomfortable.  To boot, it really didn't alleviate any of my breathing difficulties (due in large part to allergies).  I have a brother in law that has had the same surgery and poor results.  I have heard of a "balloon" plasty, where the doctor inserts a balloon in the nasal cavity, then inflates it to re-arrange the bone structure in the sinus/nasal cavity.  I have not had this done, but it may be worth looking into - it is supposedly non-invasive and not too uncomfortable.  Can be done in the office and recovery time is literally immediate.
