Starting from 3-4 years ago, I have itchy rashes everytime after swimming or exposure to sunlight, generally at the inner side of arms (under the armpitArmpit lump) and inner side of thighs. The situation is getting worse year by year that the rashes appear even only exposing weak sunlight for only 15mins.
The rashes are red, raised and itchy appear 1-2 days after sunbath and will gradually disappear after 1-2 weeks.
Please advise on my situation and the medication. Thanks a lot !
If you only get the rash on parts of your body exposed to sunlight it could be a condition called polymorphic light eruption. Basically an allergic reaction to sunlight. If so where a high factor sunblock . For example I use Uvistat spf 30. This was prescribed by my dermetologist any way. Hope this helps a bit
