Severe Eczema. Repcillin Question

Hi,

I have really bad eczema and i was researching remedies for it online. I have seen a few doctors and dermitologists and no one has been able to help me. I have tried a few steroids and nothing has helped. I saw a website for crocodile oil called "Repcillin". Could you please tell if this is an effective remedy? Are there any side effects?

There is a lot of noise about repcillin and that it contains only natural products, such as Beeswax to give it stability, grape seed and rapeseed oil, both of which are known to have healing properties and pure crocodile oil which is almost 20% of the balm.

It is supposed to be effective against a lot of skin conditions ranging from eczema, psoriasis, athlete’s foot, cold sores, rashes etc.

However, one should realize that most of these claims are made by manufacturers/marketing persons and no scientific clinical trials have been done on patients to find out the efficacy/side effects.

Also, it being a 'natural' product does not come under the regulation of any drug control agency such as USFDA etc.

You can discuss this with your dermatologist who might be having more ‘practical’ information on the use of repcillin.
