Hello,
My normal resting heart rate is about 60, but for some reason when ever I eat a meal (not a small snack) by heart rate will go up to as high at 132 bpm.
I understand that your heart rate will increase but not by this much. I have had many tests done on my heart (5 EKGs, an echo, a chest xray, a holter monitor, and blood work) which all come out normal. I am 23 years old.
A colleague suggested to me that this could be a food allergy. I do not drink coffee or consume caffiene, nor do I smoke.
My doctor just kind of shrugs this off but I am starting to wonder if it may be a sensitively to something? Is that possible?
Thanksf or any input.
