What should I do or take to feel better?...I do have a OB Dr's appointment coming up on the 10th of November, can I hold out til then, or is it severe that I should get something sooner?
Hi
Welcome to the forum!
Drink plenty of hot fluids like tea (if you can take without it causing acidity), warm lemonade, soups etc. Take steam and do a valsalva maneuver (Done by taking a deep breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor and blowing while pinching your nostrilsNostril nasal decongestant and closing your mouth). However since you are pregnant do not over blow or use too much force. This will help clear the secretions in the tube that connects the back of your throat with your ear. Try taking steam twice in a day. This will loosen the secretions, making breathing easier. If this does not help get an earlier appointment with your gynecologist.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
