Hi,
To answer your question, yes this pain is typical of sinusitis.
The pattern of your pain seems to indicate involvement of air spaces in the fore-head and the cheek. Sinusitis is the inflammation of the mucosal lining of these air-spaces.
Most sinus infections are due to viral infections and can be treated with decongestants because they will reduce tissue swelling and allow drainage.
Antihistamines are of benefits if there is an allergic.
Withdrawal from your anti-anxiety medications may be a contributory factor to the head ache but as such does not cause what you are describing.
Hope you find this information helpful.
