Sinusitis and asthama

hi,
I am in big trouble, it's been like 5,6 years that I am having sinus problem, every time I visit doctors they just prescribe me antibiotics and nasal sprays which is not working. My nose smells really bad though I clean once a day, taking steam, not drinking, not smoking, everyone just turning their face away from me, this experience is really heartbreaking. I tried almost all of the antibiotics that exist for sinus problem, I quit smoking and drinking, even I am not taking dairy products to improve my sinus problem but it is not happening. I think I can not be cured in my life now. and the strange thing is today morning I got asthama attack, I think that was asthama attack because my chest was really tight at that time, it was really hard for me to breathe, I was feeling like my brain and chest they are compressing and gonna collide in a second. from today morning till now I am having trouble in breathing. I can not speak continuosly, I've to stop and go and stop and go while speaking.
Please and please can you give some advice excluding the idea of antibiotics, nasal sprays and steam because I am tired of these things and save my life?
                                                                I'll b waiting! Thank you!

Hi, welcome to the forum, the chest pain is needed to be evaluated and should not be overlooked. Most common causes are musculoskeletal pain followed by acid reflux. But cardiac causes needed to rule out like angina, pericarditis which can cause tightness in the chest.

The respiratory causes are thromboembolism, Pneumothorax, Pleuritis/serositis and Pleural effusion.

Sinus has symptoms like feeling pressure on forehead, sinus drainage, fatigue, poor sense to smell and taste, bad breath, sore throat, ear pain etc. You need to undergo detailed evaluation and rule out deviated nasal septum, blocked sinus, presence of foreign body etc. You may have to undergo surgery (drainage and corrective procedure) if symptoms persists.

You need to get an ECG, plain chest radiograph and echocardiography to rule out the cardiac and respiratory causes. Otherwise musculo-skeletal pain is suspected which can be managed by analgesics. I suggest you to consult a physician. Take care and regards.
