Successful treatment of nasal polyps

I have struggled with this for years.  Here is what cured me.  Zyflo 4 X 600 mg. a day.  Anit-leukotrine inhibitor.  Do not be swayed to use Singulair.  No comparison.  Sporanox 4 X a day.  Anti-fungal.  Seems to be a part of the problem.  Methotraxate.  Expiramental.  Worked very well for me as confirmed by CAT-SCAN.  Nasal rinse daily with neti pot--include aromatic sea salt, Grapeseed oil, Pulmicort respule, Alkolol, dash of baby shampoo.  Allergy shots.  Combination of all of these worked.  Have had 6 surgeries--worthless and unpleasant.  Hope this helps someone.  Note that all these medications need to be overseen with blood tests to make sure no liver damage.  In my experience, most doctors are quite lazy--the read nothing and have a pretty modest bag of tricks--lots of antibiotics, steroids, steroid sprays, surgery.  Find someone who really reads the literature.  Hope this helps someone out there.  I was in great discomfort for many years.
