Sun Rash

I have several bumps across my left cheekbone, and they are kind of itchy, but not too bad. i dont have them anywhere else, just my cheek. they are just red smooth slightly raised bumps. they are kind of spreading up my nose, should i be concerned? will they go away? what are they? thanks.

Hi,

What you describe seems like sweat dermatitis or heat rash.

You should try to keep the area dry and clean. Try some powder to absorb the sweat. Apply calamine lotion at the sites.

Do you have any other symptoms? Since when have you noticed this rash? What is your age?

If the symptoms are still persistent, consult your dermatologist and get a proper clinical evaluation done. You would also have to rule out chloasma.

Let us know if you have any doubts and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Good luck.
