Swollen lip and inside of lip.

I noticed some minor swelling on my lower lip. as of now it's only on the right side of my lip. when I woke up this morning, however, the swelling got worse. I would like to know how to get this to go down. please help.

It's possible you got bit by something either during the night or at some point last evening without realizing it.

You might want to try applying some ice to see if it brings the swelling down and perhaps try something like Benadryl in case it's an allergic reaction to something.  HOWEVER, please do not take anything without first checking with your doctor or pharmacist, especially if you are on any other medications or under a doctor's care for anything.

If, by any chance, the swelling gets worse, spreads to other areas of your mouth or throat, or you start having trouble breathing, have someone take you immediately to the local ER.
