The Everlasting Itch

I'm 25 years old and just got diagnosed with ACIU.  I have been suffering with hives for 12 years.  When I was 18 yrs old they put me in ICU, unable to stabilize my vitals.  The only thing I have noticed is that I deal with them for an undetermined amount of time and they go away for 4 years, then POW right back to where I began.  I also have edema with my hives, hand and feet mostly.  I have vasculitis, leaving severe bruising after large hives.  Recently my dermatologist put me on Prednisone and within 3 days my hives broke through the medication.  I have tried EVERY antihistimine under the sun....NOTHING WORKS!  Most Doc's I see do not seem to understand that they do not work.  My body does not discriminate on where they may decide to pop up, I have also had horrible abdominal pain and they told me I was likely to have hives covering my internal organs.
This breakout began November 18th 2010, after a very emotional trauma.  I have had them EVERY day since then.  the hands and feet are the worst.  My Rheumatologist and Dermatologist are talking about putting me on Cyclosporine, any advice?
