Thick Mucus (Not Runny)
Lately I've been blowing my nose only to find strange balls of mucus come out. It's not runny in any way, rather it's gelatinous and in the form of a ball. It seems as though there's liquid inside... think a medicine liqui-gel capsule or something. Is this normal or are my allergies to blame for these weird mucus-balls? I'd appreciate any helpful answers... Thanks!

Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? This could be due to allergy and sinus issues as well. You may need to take decongestants and drink plenty of fluids to help relieve any symptoms. If it persists, have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
