Throwing up at night

by bone2006, Sep 27, 2009 01:23AM
Once a year I have been getting this cough that just wouldn't go away and my doctor prescribed advair and it seemed after taking it my cough for go away for months and months, but generally once or twice a year I had a dry cough.

I moved to a new place in Florida and I haven't been coughing in awhile, but my cough seems to be back and maybe worse, so I saw another doctor who told me to start taking zyrtec as it seems I have allergy based ashma.  I started to take Zyrtec and really haven't noticed any difference.   It seems I cough throughout the day a little bit, but at night I cough the most and it seems I have a slight post nasal drip, which I've been waking up to throw up a few times this week.

For some reason I'm always hot at night as well.   I've always had trouble sleeping, but now it seems that it's really hot at night and I just keep lowering the temperature, sleep with nothing, but cheats while everybody else is freezin in the house I'm still a little bit hot.

Hi
Welcome to the forum!
Well, Florida has a typical tropical climate—hot and humid. Hence chances of mold allergy are high here. This could be causing your symptoms of cough, post nasal drip etc. Please get your house checked for the possible presence of mold.
The other possibility is asthma. The third possibility is tuberculosis. Discuss these possibilities with your doctor.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
