Tooth Pain

Does anyone suffer sever tooth pain during allergy season? Has anyone gone thru root canals and crowns only to feel that it wasn't really the problem?
Please let me know - all my upper teeth are hypersensitive - seasonally...
It seems to be a pattern - every Feb or May - root canals and crowns on the
upper teeth. This time - they replaced a crowned tooth ((that didn't have an exisiting root canal)) and now that tooth has flared greatly and I think I may be
looking at having them drill into my pretty new crown for a root canal?!!!  It's making me crazy!  Sometimes my teeth are fine and then BOOM - pain - sometimes the pain floats across several top teeth...
Anyone else??

Hi,

You should consult your dental specialist and ask him/her to prescribe you toothpastes and oral rinses / mouth wash for sensitive teeth. That would help with the hypersensitivity.

You should try to avoid eating or drinking foods that are either too warm or too cold during the time your teeth are hypersensitive.

If the pain is severe, you would need oral pain relief medications too. But do check with your doctor if this pain is due to caries or hypersensitivity in the normal teeth.

Let us know if you have any other doubts and post us about how you are doing.

Regards.
