Was my drink spiked

by medhelpchris, Nov 04, 2009 12:25PM
Last night i was at a pub playing poker .
Had drunk three pints of larger which is not a lot for me and didn't feel a thing .
I went to get my fourth drink and felt a warming sensation in my chest and spine .
I then started to feel sick in my stomach and my head started pumping (headache).
I did think about going home but decided to sit it out and stop drinking my drink.
I thought this was strange because the feelings were not associated with alcohol consumption.
I thought that it was possible that my drink could have been spiked because the symptoms came out of nowhere and were quite acute.

Luckily after about 30 mins the warm feeling in my chest and spine eased off and i began to feel less sick .
After about 45 mins virtually all the symptoms wore off i  started to feel normal again.
As quickly as they had started the symptoms had gone.

Because i have experience in taking drugs such as ecstasy , cocaine , amphetamine and cannabis recreationally i ruled them out because there were no psychological effects , just physical .

So , was i spiked with some sort of strange , short term affecting drug ?
