What can I do?

I am almost 44 and still have no idea of what I am allergic to.
I know of 4 meds that I'm allergic to, but I have no idea of what else triggers these ailments.
I know I'm allergic to bees and wasps...but only because I have been stung in the past and quit breathing and ended up in hospital.
I know I'm allergic to eggs, but only because back in the 60's your parents fed you eggs before your MMR shot...they no longer do that...guess they don't use eggs in the shots anymore?

Since I was a child my mom has tried to find a doctor that was willing to do allergy tests on me.
They always told her the same thing..." Why put her through that? Whatever YOU are allergic to, is probably the same things that SHE will be allergic to..."
I know that is baloney...my kids have ALL had allergy testing and not one of them has the same allergies as the others or the same as my mother...except for penicillin.

As an adult I have tried to find a doctor that will run the tests but they keep telling me things like: " You should know by now.", " We don't test older patients because your allergies tend to change on a constant basis.", "It takes 2 years to get an adult in for testing, so it's hardly worth your while to sit around and wait."

IF they would have tested me years ago, I would know by now!!

My ENT told me years ago to have testing done because I have Meniere's Disease, and if I knew my triggers it would greatly reduce my attacks...but NO doctor I have met will do them!

In Alberta, we are very short on doctors, so it's impossible to change family doctors...walk in clinics don't seem to want to send you for tests such as these either.  They just tell you to see your family doctor.
Is there some way to do testing at home or something?

I WAS tested for celiac about 15 years ago...the test said I was .5 away from having it...gee...that helps...they also said that I was .5 away from having arthritis too...

Any ideas?
I HAVE tried the elimination of food test on my own...if I eat bread, potatoes, pasta, etc I bloat and get ill...hence the reason for doing the Celiac testing years ago.
