My husband was tested for food allergies last year due to terrible stomach pain. He was diagnosed with a severe wheat/soy allergy. To rule out other things, he underwent a colonoscopy, xrays, ultrasounds, ct scans...you name it. None of them showed anything. He subsequently went off all of those foods, and has stayed off of them. However, during the past year, a different type of stomach pain has emerged, more severe. He has been treated for recurring prostatitus (sp?), but that hasn't done anything to improve the pain. The pain used to come and go once every few days, but now, it is pretty much every day. When he has it, he can't do anything but lay there, and he's wiped out for at least a day after, so it's pretty much constantly he is "sick." Is this possible another allergy, caused by going off of wheat ??? He doesn't want to spend another $5,000 to figure it out, and has pretty much given up on ever feeling better. Please help!
