Wheezing breathing and coughing in early mornings

I am 30 years old, married with one child.  Since two years now I have problems with breathing, manifested in a form of a wheezing sound from lungs.  The physician has not diagnosed me with asthma, however, I have been diagnosed with pollen and home-dust allergies.  The wheezing usually shows up every second day or so now, around 3 AM.  I am now taking Ventolin (salbutamol sulphate) inhaler.  During the last six months I’ve used one local-corticosteroid-spray in the mouth (flexotide) each night before sleep, which stopped the breathing problems and coughing.  I am planning to have another child and the flexotide’s prospectus says that it should not be used by pregnant women.  I would like to know Is there another drug or method I can use to help with my breathing difficulties and coughing? Lisa
