after kawasaki disease allergy in a baby

a 1 and a half yr old was diagnosed with kawasaki disease - thankfully she was diagnosed early enough to be cured. she had overcome the disease after about 2 weeks.she had formed rashes due to the disease but once they slowly began to go away, new ones came along. she is now almost 3 and her skin is just terrible. she is itchy EVERYWHERE , she scratches from head to toe , and cant even sleep at night. her skin feels very dry and lumpy and almost spikey like an after shave.. everywhere.she has been taken to different doctors/hospitals and everyone has their own ideas on what causes it but no one is sure.  some say it is due to allergies - so she does not eat anything with gluten or wheat and a bunch of other foods. she basically feeds on soup and a small amount of fruits- that is her diet. some say it is due to her sensitivity to the sun and she now does not get taken outside in the morning when the sun is out. her blood tests are fine. she also uses a few lotions to stop her from itching. sometimes she gets  better and randomly she will get worse. so we do not know if it is the food or anything else. this baby is one of my close relatives and it really depresses me to know she is not the healthiest baby out here.  anyone have any ideas?

My brother had Kawasaki disease as a small child and has no allergies other than amoxocillin. He is currently 26 and has no other problems besides caffeine induced arrhythmia. It's a pretty rare disease so he might be the minority but this new rash, if Kawasaki rash has disappeared completely, probably has nothing to do with that. She is still at the age where allergies are just being discovered so it's possible she has a fruit allergy or an allergy to something in the soups she has. Many soups and sauces also do have gluten in them. Look specifically for eggs, dairy, strawberries, potatoes, tomatoes and suggest an elimination diet. So a bowl of one type of fruit and nothing else. No reaction, move on to the next kind. Also have you ruled out viral infections like chickenpox?
