allergic reaction? I need help

Hello, I thought I had a UTI so I went to my doctor to get tested. The result came out positive so I was perscribed Sulfamethoxazole also known as Trimethoprim. Several minutes after taking it I felt dizzy and had a light pain in my leg. I thought nothing of it at first but as the day progressed I got worse. The pain was unbareable! I tried to call my doctor but he isn't around and the office paged him. I still have yet to talk with him. I took Ibuprofen it has dulled the pain yet hasn't gotten rid of it. If there is a doctor on this forum, please... What should I do?
